James Judd

James is the Chief Operations Officer at Castle Point Funds, having joined the firm in 2017. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, a Master of Commerce with First Class Honours in Finance from the University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Applied Economics (minor in Finance) from Massey University, where he graduated in the top five percent of his class while studying extramurally and competing internationally as a professional cyclist in Europe.

Outside of his professional career, James volunteers as a frontline ambulance officer with Hato Hone St John’s and leads expeditions in whitewater kayaking and canyoning, reflecting his passion for adventure and community service.
